We started BoardHasA.name because we kept paying more for tools that gave us less. Same product, more teammates, suddenly four times the bill — with the features we actually needed quietly walled off behind the next tier up. We thought that was broken. So we built something different.

Free tiers feel generous for two weeks. Then they hit a wall — and the wall keeps moving.

The features that made you choose the tool slowly migrate to the paid tier. Storage caps drop. Boards get limited. The "free forever" plan becomes a 14-day trial in disguise.

Every new teammate adds $10–$15 a month — across five tools — that's a real budget conversation just to onboard one person. Growth shouldn't feel like a tax.

We're self-funded and profitable. No venture pressure, no exit clock. Our incentive is keeping you on the product — for years, not quarters.

We can't be free — that's the trade-off honesty asks of us. We're a small team and we'd rather charge fairly than sell your data, pad onboarding fees, or build for an acquisition that screws you later. So we kept the price at about the cost of a coffee a month per teammate. That's where it stays.
